Sand Casting

Sand casting is widely recognized as a highly utilized method for casting metal components. In this procedure, it encompasses a casting methodology wherein the molten metal is poured into a cavity, which is formed by compacting sand around a pattern. Sand mixture is then packed around the pattern and subsequently permitted to dry or solidify. As the sand reaches a hardened state, the pattern is extracted, leaving behind a sand cavity that precisely matches the desired shape of the final part. Subsequently, the molten metal is poured into the sand cavity and allowed to gradually cool and solidify. Following the solidification of the metal, the sand mold is meticulously broken apart, enabling the retrieval of the completed casting. There are several advantages to using this process:
